The 2024 Awaji Youth Federation Fellowship in Japan operating under Pasona Group is now open for applications. This prestigious internship opportunity on Awaji Island allows individuals worldwide to enhance their skills and gain valuable international experience. 

As a fellow, you will receive comprehensive support, including accommodation, a monthly salary of JPY 197,000, utility costs, discounted meals, and Japanese language classes. After six months, fellows are entitled to 10 days of paid leave. You won’t have to worry about finances while living in Japan!

The fully funded 9-month program also provides career counseling sessions designed to provide you with support in defining your career aspirations. Furthermore, fellows with exceptional skills that contribute to the advancement of Awaji Island in line with Pasona Group’s vision and objectives may have the opportunity to continue their work on the island after the fellowship.

The duration is 9 months only, beginning in October 2024. Hence, you must apply before the deadline, 31 May 2024, to be a part of this amazing opportunity.

  • Eligibility:
    • Internship opportunities are open to applicants from all around the world.
    • A bachelor’s degree or higher is required for obtaining a working visa.
  • Experience and Skills:
    • 2-3 years of experience in one of the fellowship’s focus areas.
    • Adaptability to startup environments and fast-paced settings.
    • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Age Criteria:
    • Ideal age range: 24-30 years old.
    • Merit is the primary consideration.
    • Individuals aged 35 and above may not be eligible.
  • Language Requirements:
    • Fluency in English (TOEIC 800 or equivalent) is mandatory.
    • Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1-N3) is advantageous.
  • Additional Considerations:
    • Significant family or marital commitments should be disclosed during the application process.
  • Work and Learning Commitment:
    • Fellows work and engage in learning activities five days a week.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Willingness to work hard and maintain discipline.
    • Adaptability, resilience, and a proactive approach.
    • Readiness to work in teams.
